Rules of Evidence
This topic will discuss the basic rules of evidence that are applicable to parking enforcement to assist officers in developing appropriate investigative practices and in preparing for court.

Preparing for Court
This topic will discuss the process involved in setting trials for parking tickets as well as how an officer should prepare himself/herself once they are advised of an upcoming trial.

Trial Process
This topic will include an overview of the court structure in Ontario, the role of the various people involved in the trial process and a look at the various stages in the trial process itself.

Giving Evidence
This topic will discuss the principles of being a good witness, as well as appropriate courtroom decorum.

Freedom of Information
This topic will discuss the various sections of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, that may apply to municipal law enforcement officers.

Relevant Case Law
This discussion will include any applicable case law that has not already been discussed in previous topics.
