Legislation & Enforcement
The Legislation & Enforcement committee
is devoted to streamlining traffic enforcement and improving the
quality of life on Ontario roads. The committee is comprised of
dedicated law enforcement personnel, government transportation
experts and members from the legal community.
The Legislation
and enforcement committee reviews traffic law and regulations,
identifies enforcement and prosecution obstacles and researches
viable alternatives. Once research is complete, resolutions, recommendations
and issue papers are adopted at the Annual General meeting of
the Ontario Traffic Conference then directed to appropriate government
ministries for legislative consideration.
