Ron Hamilton, President

Ron HamiltonAfter completing his formal education at Seneca College, Ron Hamilton joined the Traffic Engineering staff of the City of Toronto in 1971. Over the next 24 years, Ron held positions of increasing responsibility and following amalgamation of Toronto's former six municipalities, was appointed to the position of Supervisor of Traffic Engineering. In October 2007, Ron became the Manager of Traffic Operations, joking that the corner office is just one step closer to the door.

Ron is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), is a 5-year member of the Parking Committee, and in his 4th year as a member of the OTC Board of Directors. Ron, his wife of 34 years, his two children, and three grand-children live in Holland Landing, Ontario.

Prior to becoming OTC President, Ron served as OTC's Vice President and Director of Education.
